Virtual Estate planning and business formation services

Why Virtual Services

Why Virtual Services

In this increasingly virtual world, our law firm understands that getting to a physical office can be a challenge.  Our clients are welcome to provide much of the necessary information through an online system and we can send documents using a combination of technology and mail services.

Virtual Estate Planning - The Process

Contact Our Office and Get to Know Us

The first step is to contact our office via phone or email to let us know what services you need.  Our office will conduct a preliminary assessment to determine if we are able to provide the requested services.  You will then have an opportunity to speak with an attorney about the details of your legal needs.  This usually takes the form of a 15 minute telephone consultation.

Establish the Relationship

Should we feel confident in our ability to represent you, and you feel comfortable working with us, our office will send you a Legal Services Agreement and request a deposit.

Client Questionnaire

When you have returned the Legal Services Agreement, you will be sent a questionnaire that you can fill out at your own luxury.

Virtual Consultation

You will then have the opportunity to schedule a virtual conference call during which time the attorney will have additional questions and seek to better understand your life circumstances.  This is an essential part of the process where the attorney identifies potential legal issues.  The attorney will then take all your information to draft documents tailored to your needs.

Review of Draft

You will receive a first draft of the documents, to review at your leisure. You can send comments and questions to our office via email or we can schedule a virtual consultation to discuss.

Receive Final Draft

You will receive a final draft along with detailed instructions about signing procedures.  Our office is happy to help you with this process. Once executed, you will need to store these documents in a safe and accessible place to which your loved ones have access.  We will be available to address any questions or changes thereafter.  Should the need arise, we are here to compassionately assist with the final distributions of the estate.
